  1. Safety and Prerequisites

?   Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, basic swimming skills are important. While you’ll be wearing a life vest and most of the riding is done on the surface, Jet Surfing still takes place in open water. Being able to swim gives you an extra layer of safety in case you fall off or need to get back to your board.

?  How safe is Jet Surfing?

Jet Surfing is safe when practiced with proper instructions and safety gear. Just like any water sport, it comes with some risk, but with a certified instructor, protective gear, and following safety rules, it’s a thrilling yet secure activity.

?  Do I need to be strong or very fit? Is there an age or weight limit?

Jet Surfing doesn’t require extreme strength. Balance and basic coordination are more important than muscle power. Riders should weigh at least 30–35 kg to properly control the board. While most riders start around 12 years old, younger kids can also try it under supervision. There’s no upper age limit as long as you’re healthy and comfortable in the water.

  1. Lesson Structure and Duration

?   How many lessons will I need to learn the basics?

We recommend a 1.5 to 2-hour beginner session to cover the fundamentals: board control, throttle use, turning, and safety. Most students can stand up and ride in their very first session.

?   Can I learn enough in one lesson to start practicing on my own?

Yes! With our beginner-friendly boards and clear instruction, many people can ride short distances within their first lesson. However, for full confidence and control, we recommend a follow-up session.

?   How long are typical lessons, and what’s the recommended frequency?

Lessons usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. A single session is often enough to get a feel for it, but if you want to improve your technique or try more advanced riding, coming back a second or third time is ideal.

?   Will I be able to ride on my own after the lessons?

After just one or two sessions, most riders feel confident enough to ride on their own—especially with calmer water conditions. However, for safety, it’s best to always inform the staff before heading out and stay in designated riding areas.

  1. Equipment Question

?   What I need to prepare for my kite lesson?

Just bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, and maybe a rash guard or long-sleeve shirt for sun and jellyfish protection. We provide the board, life vest, helmet, and all other necessary gear. Don’t worry if you forget something—we have extra equipment and accessories ready at our center.
