Pattaya, Today  Pattaya  is  Thailand's  premier  beach  resort and attracts annually more  than  a  million  tourists  from  all  over  the  world.    Pattaya  provides  high standard  hotels,  restaurants, sports, entertainment and shopping facilities. The resort  is  Thailand's  most  important  diving  center and the east coast is also a paradise for golfers.

The spot:
Our center is situated at the Jomtien Beach at the Blue Lagoon Sports Club - around the headland from Pattaya Beach. We will be holding a free BBQ every week.

how to get there: After the Right turn of Sukhumvit follow the Soi (street) all the way till you see the sign for Blue Wave then turn RIght into the Real Estate (Baan Dhewaran), where the guard will will give you a pass and open the gate for you.

BY TRAIN
Few  visitors  to Pattaya are aware that the city does have a railway station. It is north of  Sukhumvit Rd close to the Siam Country Club. One train a day leaves Bangkok Railway Station (Hualamphong) at 7am and  takes  5 hours to works its way down to Pattaya. For more details call (66-2) 223-7010, 223-7020.

BY AIR
The vast majority of tourists going to Patttaya are unaware that the resort does have U-Tapo Airport at Sattahip. Currently the only scheduled flights are operated by Bangkok Airways to and from Koh Samui.

No wind days:
If you get bored with chilling out the beach, or all that warm tropical water, there are go-karts to race, elephants to ride and guns to shoot! Paragliding, first class diving, Go-Kart, Ultralight flights, Paintball, Golf, Muy Thai boxing, Bowling, Snooker is also on the list of things for days without wind.

Kite guidelines:
KBA has built up a solid reputation for safety. Your compliance with the following will help keep the beach safe and open for kiteboarding. The following kitelines are enforced by the KBA around the School Area**.

  • Kiters must give right of way to ALL beach users.   
  • Do not accept help from non kiteboarders.  
  • Please accept that this is a relatively new sport and most people have no idea of the dangers of kiteboarding. Assume everyone on the beach is ignorant, and accept that people will get in your way. It is up to you to educate them in a calm and friendly manner.
  • Kiteboarders must kite away from KBA studen
